A lady has been rushed to hospital after being bitten by shark whereas swimming on the NSW south coast.
The girl, aged in her sixties was bitten on the hip and thigh at Principal Seaside in Merimbula round 7am this morning.
The sufferer was an area who swims on the seashore often, and was recognized to the emergency providers on the scene.
The Division of Main Industries are investigating the incident to find out the dimensions and sort of the shark.
At this level it’s not believed the girl’s accidents are critical.
Surf Life Saving drones shall be launched this morning to surveil the waters off Merimbula to search for the shark.
Lifesavers will work with the Division of Main Industries to watch any marine exercise.
Seashores from Wallagoot Lake to Pambula shall be closed for the subsequent 24 hours.
