AsiaOne is freely giving 10 pairs of tickets to the film preview screening of Joko Anwar’s Indonesian horror film Impetigore, starring Tara Basro, Marissa Anita and Ario Bayu.
Story synopsis: After surviving a homicide try within the metropolis, Maya, a down-on-her-luck younger girl, learns that she might inherit a home in her ancestral village. Together with her pal Dini, Maya returns to the village of her delivery, unaware that the group has been attempting to find and kill her to take away the curse that has plagued the village for years. As she begins to find the difficult actuality about her previous, Maya finds herself in a struggle for her life.
The film, which is rated M18 for violence and sexual scenes, is in Bahasa Indonesia with Bahasa Melayu, English and Chinese language subtitles.
The preview screening will probably be held on Thursday Feb 6, eight.15pm, at The Cathay (Helpful Highway), and the competition will finish on Sunday Feb 2, 11.59pm.
