Rakhi Sawant was arrested on Thursday following a criticism filed by Sherlyn Chopra.
The fact TV star was taken to Amboli Police Station. Her anticipatory bail was rejected on Wednesday.
Chopra had complained about Sawant’s “objectionable language”.
She tweeted, “BREAKING NEWS!!! AMBOLI POLICE HAS ARRESTED RAKHI SAWANT IN RESPECT WITH FIR 883/2022 YESTERDAY, RAKHI SAWANT’S ABA 1870/2022 WAS REJECTED BY MUMBAI SESSIONS COURT.”
By the way, Sawant was scheduled to inaugurate her dance academy at 15:00 on Thursday.
Sawant has a turbulent week with the revelation that her mom is battling a mind tumour. Just a few days later, she introduced that she has tied the knot to long-term boyfriend, Adil Khan Durrani.
